Finding an MLS Club to Support

I'm taking suggestions on how to go about selecting a new MLS club to support. I'm reaching out to the blogosphere and the internets to help guide me in my sojourn. I'll be updating this post as suggestions and idea roll in...

Do I stick with FC Dallas despite the only real connection I have left to the club is geographical location, or do I cast my support elsewhere? I haven't been to an FCD match since 2007 and while I won't stop writing about the club and wanting it to succeed for the good of the sport and the league here in North Texas, there just isn't anything compelling me to support the club in the fan sense.
